Rohingya Victim Coordinator

Pia Conradsen is the Rohingya Victim Coordinator of Victim Advocates International. Pia has been working directly with the Rohingya community since 2018 from Thailand, Indonesia and Bangladesh. She has authored books for the Rohingya and international community on avenues for justice for the Rohingya and produced documentaries and short videos on what’s happening in Burma and the camps.

Pia has worked for organisations including Asylum Access and was the Program Coordinator for Asia Justice and Rights. Pia also worked at the LawRight Mental Health Law Practice in Brisbane, Australia, representing clients before the Mental Health Tribunal. Pia has extensive skills in conducting research, analysis and workshops on serious international crimes and transitional justice using participatory approaches with survivors. She advocates for youth inclusion and empowerment, collaborating with UNESCO and serving as a representative for their Youth Forum.
